I still can't believe what happened on that trip, but every time I close my eyes I feel their hands on me again. It was supposed to be a simple escape, three of us in our late twenties fleeing the city for a long weekend in Tulum. Sarah had just ended a bad relationship, Mia was celebrating a promotion, and I needed space from everything that felt ordinary. We rented a little villa steps from the beach, packed nothing but bikinis, sundresses, and bottles of mezcal. The first two days blurred into sun, salt, and laughter, but on the third night the air changed.
We had danced at a beach club until our legs ached. The music was low and heavy, the kind that moves through your hips without asking. Back at the villa, we didn't bother turning on many lights. Moonlight poured through the open doors, painting everything silver. Sarah kicked off her sandals and collapsed onto the wide bed we had all claimed as ours. Mia poured three shots and handed them around. Her fingers brushed mine longer than necessary.
"To forgetting," she said, and we drank.
The alcohol hit warm and fast. Sarah stretched out on her back, her thin dress riding up her thighs. I had always noticed how beautiful she was, but that night it felt different, like permission had been granted by the ocean outside. Mia sat beside her and traced a finger along Sarah's collarbone, pretending to fix a necklace that wasn't there. Sarah laughed softly, but she didn't pull away.
I watched from the edge of the bed, heart kicking. "You two are terrible at being subtle," I said, voice low.
Sarah turned her head toward me. "Then come here and help us be obvious."
I crawled closer. The sheets were cool under my knees. Mia's hand found my wrist and guided it to Sarah's bare thigh. Her skin was hot from the sun and the dancing. Sarah sighed when my palm settled there, and something inside me unlocked. I leaned down and kissed her. It started soft, tasting of lime and salt, then deepened when Mia's mouth joined us. Three tongues, three breaths, the room filling with quiet sounds we had never made together before.
Clothes came off slowly at first. Mia peeled my dress over my head and let it fall. Her lips followed the path down my neck to my breasts. She sucked one nipple into her mouth while Sarah's fingers slipped between my legs, finding me already wet. I gasped into the kiss. The sensation of both of them touching me at once was overwhelming, like every nerve had been waiting for this exact moment.
We shifted until I was on my back between them. Sarah kissed down my stomach, her breath teasing.

When her tongue finally parted me, I arched off the bed. She licked slowly, deliberately, learning what made me moan. Mia watched with dark eyes, then straddled my chest so I could taste her too. She was smooth and slick against my mouth. I gripped her hips and pulled her closer, matching the rhythm Sarah set between my thighs.
The night stretched. We took turns, sometimes two on one, sometimes all three tangled together. I remember Sarah riding my fingers while Mia sucked her nipples. I remember Mia on all fours, Sarah behind her with the strap we had jokingly packed, the wet sounds loud in the quiet room. And I remember lying on my side, one of them behind me and one in front, their mouths and hands everywhere until I came so hard I saw stars behind my eyes.
Later, when we were slick with sweat and too sensitive to move, we lay in a pile of limbs. The waves crashed outside. Sarah traced lazy circles on my stomach. Mia kissed my shoulder and whispered that she had wanted this for years. I admitted the same. None of us talked about what it meant for the plane ride home. We just stayed like that until the sky began to lighten.
By morning the three of us were sore in the best way. We swam naked in the sea, rinsed off under the outdoor shower, and spent the last day touching each other whenever we wanted. On the flight back I sat between them, each holding one of my hands under the blanket. We didn't need to say it out loud. The trip had changed something permanent, and none of us regretted it.
Even now, months later, when one of them texts late at night, I feel that same rush. The memory of their mouths, their fingers, the way we learned each other's bodies under that Tulum moon stays with me like a secret I never want to keep. It was supposed to be a girls trip. It became the night I stopped pretending I didn't want them both.
